The charred eucalyptus trees and burned forest vegetation are seen on the burn area in Guanguiltagua, the Metropolitan Park of Quito, Ecuador. Due to the massive fire that took place on September 22, 2013, about 50 hectares of the urban forest ecosystem were burned down.
