Parkour in the sky

Bogotá, Colombia – February 2016

Jose Rodriguez, a freerunner from Plus Parkour team, jumps on the top of ruined walls of an abandoned school in the outskirts of Bogotá, Colombia. Parkour, originally developed in France during the late 1980s from military training, is a physical activity, focused on the art of movement and overcoming obstacles in a strictly urban environment. Practitioners of parkour employ running, climbing, jumping, rolling and other movements to pass through any urban area the most efficient way possible.
