The annual Passion Of Christ procession, held as part of Easter celebrations, starts in Lima downtown and, followed by thousands of catholic believers, it climbs to the top of the dry and rocky hill of San Cristobal, where Mario Valencia, who has been playing the role of Jesus Christ for more than 30 years, is symbolically crucified.
