A Mexican man, the Santa Muerte follower, shows his tattoo during the religious procession in Tepito, Mexico City. Although the cult of Santa Muerte (“Holy Death”) is prohibited by the Catholic Church, it is widely spread particularly amongst Mexico's lower classes and criminal worlds.
