Futbolin

Ecuador – June 2010

Table football, also known as Foosball or Futbolin (in Latin America), is a table-top game. The game of table football was first invented in 1922 in the UK. Human players use figures mounted on rotating bars to kick the small plastic ball into the opposing goal. Each team of 1 or 2 human players controls 4 rows on its side of the table. The game ends when one team scores a predetermined number of goals. In 2002, the International Table Soccer Federation (ITSF) was established to promote the sport of table football and regulate the international competitions.
