Voodoo animal sacrifice

Vodou is a religion originating from the Caribbean country of Haiti. It is based upon ancient practices of the African slaves brought to Haiti in the 16th century mixed with the Roman Catholic Christianity. Animal sacrifice is the ritual killing which is an integral part of the Vodou tradition. It is practised as a means of appeasing god and spirits.
